What is Glamping?

"Glamping" is a short word for "glamorous or luxurious camping." It is currently one of the foremost emerging holiday/stay niche in the hospitality sector. How Do I Reserve a Pod at Udoscape?

To check availability for your dates CLICK HERE and enter your information. You can check Udoscape's availability quickly and easily. 

To see open days on the calender:

  • Scroll over the Pod of your choice then click "check availability", calender will open up. You can scroll through the calender for open dates.

Note about Packages:

  • Ensure you select the package of your choice interest, and a "yes" if you want breakfast delivered to your pod.

  • Click "submit"

  • Enter required information, then choose "Submit Request To Owner" or "Pay Now To Book."

 

How Many Guests Can Stay in a Pod?

Due to permitting restrictions we are only allowed to accomodate 2 guests per pod. We may be able to accomodate a 3rd person, but you must let us know prior to reserving your stay with Udoscape. Contact us

Violation of our required number of guest per pod is grounds for instant termination of your stay, loss of your deposit money and night's stay. Thank you for understanding. 

Are Pets Allowed at Udoscape?

We love pets, but unfortunetly we are not able to have any on location or in the glamping pods. 

Violation of this will be grounds for instant termination of your stay, and loss of your security deposit. Thank you for understanding. 

Are There Age Restrictions at Udoscape?

Yes, at this time we only accept guests who are 21 and older. Feel free to contact us via email or call 512.676.1265 if you are an emancipated minor. 
 

Are Kids Allowed at Udoscape?

We are an "adults-only" resort, designed with couples in mind. You must be 21 or older to be at this resort. Come and enjoy a romantic getaway with your significant other where you can enjoy the view, soak in the hot tub and star gaze at night. 

What Time is Check-in and Check-out?

Check-in is at 4:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM. We offer contactless check-in and check-out. 

Note that your gate-code may not work until the exact check-in time. You can no longer access the sites after our check-out time.

Please, we ask that current guests be courteous to incoming guests and check-out at/or before the stated 11:00 AM time.
 

Are the Glamping Pods at Udoscape Open Year-Round?

Yes! We are open year-round. We have air conditioning and heat as needed to make your stay as comfortable as possible. 

Please note the pods and bubble tents at our Udoscape Glamping Resort have been very thoughtfully designed and equiped for temperature control, they are still canvas/membrane structures. That means that they do not hold heat which is generally obtainable at your home. We recommend you pack weather appropriate wears during cold/frigid weather conditions, just in case. That said, the Pods are fully equipped with cooling/heating HVAC systems, accessory wall mounted heater appliance, additional table top heater, and we also provide heated blankets. The bubble tent is equiped with a cooling/heating HVAC system as well. 

It is our goal to make you as comfortable as possible during your glamping adventure. 

What Should I Pack? What Does Udoscape Provide During a Stay in a Pod?

Recommended to Pack: 

  • For cold weather months, bring warm suitable wears including socks, slippers, long pants, sweatshirts and warm lounging wear. 
  • Toiletaries - toothpast, body lotion, etc. 
  • Backpack, if you plan on hiking. The Balcones Canyonlands is only a few miles from Udoscape.  
  • Spices & Condiments - including salt, pepper, oil.
  • Aluminium foil, plastic bags and any other items you may need for food preparation or storage.
  • Umbrella - we do have a general designated parking area that would require walking to your Pod if raining.
  • Phone charger
  • Bottled water, per your preference - We are on well water which is fine for drinking or cooking.
  • Cooler / ice
  • Sunscreen / Bug sprays
  • Boots, for muddy areas
We provide:
  • Telescope, only for Pods 2 and 3. These are beginner type telescopes, so are easy to use. 
  • Papers towels and toilet paper 
  • Heated blankets
  • Linens and towels 
  • Beach towels for hot-tub
  • Ear plugs / eye shades
  • Shampoo, conditioner and body wash
  • Dish detergent and hand soap
  • Trash bags
  • Solar cooking device
  • Cookwares, untensils, plates, glasses, cups - we DO NOT carry pots are we only provide a GoSun solar cook device. We DO NOT allow any other form of hot-plate cooker devices for safety reasons.
  • Mini-fridge
  • Microwave
  • Propane grills - no charcoals, or none-resort provided grill device allowed on site.
  • Grill utensils
  • First-Aid kit
  • Toaster

Is There a Minimum Night Stay? Are One-Night Stays Available?

We have a minimum requirement of two (2) nights for weekends and (1) night for weekdays.

We do allow single night stays when a day falls in-between existing weekend reservations. Contact us or call 512.676.1265 about these days. 

Do You Collaborate With Social Media Influencers?

Cancellation and Refund Policy

We understand that ocassionally it is necessary to change or cancel a reservation.  However, understand that because we are a small business, cancellations have a huge financial impact on us.  Once a Pod is reserved, it is no longer available for a reservation by other interested travelers. We ask for your understanding in respecting our cancellation, change, and refund policy.  

All cancellations or reservation changes must be made in writing to info@restonseventh.com 

Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to arrival will receive a 50% refund.

Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to arrival will not be refunded.

We DO NOT refund for early departures, delayed arrivals, no-shows.

Inclement weather is also NOT a reason for refund.

Who is Rest on Seventh?

Rest on Seventh is simply the management (parent) company that manages all bookings and stays both at Island on Lake Travis Resort, and Udoscape Glamping Resort. 

What Amenities Do the Glamping Pods Have?

Udoscape is a heart-throbbing and one-of-a-kind resort glamping destination. Here, our guests have access to amazing and lavishly furnished Pods, each with full ensuite amenities including restroom, shower, kitchenette, TV, a king sized bed, a loft with a twin bed and is temperature regulated with AC and heat.

Each Pod comes with either a hot-tub, or a star-gazing bubble tent (see our Pods). Our star-gazing bubble tents are fully air conditioned/heated, and have a telescope, bean bags, blankets/pillows, etc. At Udoscape you have full access to grill sites, a sit-around fire-pit, and a hammock area.

Which Pods Include a Hot Tub and Which Comes with a Star-Gazing Bubble Tent?

Pods 1 and 4 have hot-tubs
Pods 2 and 3 have star-gazing bubble tents.

About Security Deposit

Security/Damage Deposits are refundable, with refunds initiated 7 days after your stay. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for refund to reflect in your account, also depending on your bank's processing times as it can vary.

Do You Accept Partial Payments, With Payment Complete on Arrival?

We only accept 100% of payment at the time of reservation.
